What sparked your interest in public relations?

I came to MSU as a journalism major and decided I wasn’t really into it anymore so I started looking around for other majors that involved strong writing skills and landed on PR. It was the best decision I’ve ever made, I love this industry.

What area of PR are you most interested in pursuing, and what is your dream career?

I’m interested in media relations. Specifically, getting client representation through news outlets.

Why did you join PRSSA, and what made you want to be part of the E-Board?

I joined PRSSA because I had always wanted to join a club that aligned with my major. I wanted to be apart of E-Board because there are so many benefits and it is so fulfilling. It gets your foot in the door of PR and gives you things to talk about in job interviews.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish through PRSSA this year?

I hope to continue to grow our chapter by talking about how PRSSA has impacted me and encouraging everyone to join.

What is one fun or random fact about you that people might not know?

I don’t know how to ride a bike.

Outside of PR and school, what are you into?

Some of my favorite things: iced chai, Big Brother (tv show), broadway musicals, and shopping!!!
